I am fairly new to Active Rain and I have started a group, but I have no idea how I am supposed to let people know that I have started the group or how the general AR population will see my group. Has anyone started a group before that could offer me some advice? Thanks!

What is your group about? If you want people to join it should be about something that people want to know about or give a reason to join.
Dennis - That would make sense now wouldn't it! In my group I am sharing lead capture and lead conversion techniques which my team uses for Internet transactions. We only market online and all our transactions in 2007 came via the Internet.
Post a couple blogs about the group and maybe send a contact to people you think might enjoy the group.
